I have a translating degree SAL (School for Applied Linguistics) and work as a freelance translator. After commercial school, I worked in the banking industry during several years at Merrill Lynch International Geneva and Daiwa Securities Bank Zurich. Translating business documents and interpreting internal and client meetings was part of my daily tasks.
In between I did some language courses in England and the USA and lived in the Caribbean for a few months, where I was trained as a PADI Divemaster. These stays abroad helped me to increase my understanding of the Anglo-Saxon culture. I also deepened my knowledge in French hands-on during my three-year working period at Merrill Lynch in Geneva.
